[Comment]
After praise from Stones Throw's DJ CAM to L.A.'s DUBLAB,
BUN drops his new 2nd album on OILWORKS Rec!!

His fist touch of dopeness travelled far and wide. From the Paris Collection, Tokyo Collection, Tokyo Photography Museum and TOKYO FM... all the way to the musically creative corners of the world. Now, BUN follows up his world-wide acclaimed debut album with a new album on OILWORKS Rec.
A solid twenty-eight-track album of soothingly sharp sound. A mysterious blend of contrasting beat, tone and melody. Understated and elegant, yet bold and confident… Dakim got it right when he said:
"…it's all serene…there's a calmness that surrounds even with the thumping chunks on the bottom in every track…broken but still easing. Warm, textured and dope."
The album features remixed tracks by ICHIRO_ and DAKIM, and album artwork by BUNA.
Also, be sure to check out RLP "WORKS" also recently out on OILWORKS Rec.

[BUN Profile]
Word of Tokyo based BUN's debut album "I am not talking about commercial shit" travelled far for a debut album, featuring A Tribe Called Quest's Phife Dawg and Stones Throw artists Homeliss Derilex and Break Reform. Tracks from the album also made appearences on Giles Peterson's BBC RADIO ONE show and DJ CAM's album "My Playlist".
In the U.S., BUN has gained support especially in the L.A. scene through the help of DUBLAB, Poo-Bah, Flying Lotus, DJ CAM, LTJ BUKEM, DJ SPINNA, DJ BABU… as well appearing on Kutmah's "Live Mix 2009" album. BUN was also featured in "The Find Rewind" an exclusive 100 limited beattape by prominent web-mag thefindmag.com, a compilation pulled together by a wide array of producers including Kev Brown, Dela, Suff Daddy and more.
Recently, BUN has been working with a number of upcoming Japanese MC's - producing BIG JOE's 2010 album "RIZE AGAIN" - among several other projects, and releasing three experimental limited-run CD-Rs.
BUN's 2nd album "Adieu a X" drops October 13, 2010.
